The Committee
Service and history
Many local film club legends have held committee positions and successfully ran the club since 1959. The giants that paved the way built at one point a club that was rich with members, including many couples and families, which made for a great social element within the membership.
Since covid-19, many of the vanguard retiring and passing on the baton, the club now has a smaller core membership with a mix of cameramen, sound recordists, editors, writers and performers. Collectively, they have chosen these members to run the committee.
